About Dr. Karen Reynolds

Since 2016, Dr. Karen Reynolds has been the owner and lead practitioner of Asheville Vet Rehab, where she combines a lifelong passion for animal health with a thoughtful, integrative approach to care.

A 2006 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Reynolds began her career with an internship at a prestigious equine practice in northern New Jersey, and then soon came to the Asheville and Tryon area to work as an equine veterinarian.

In 2014, she transitioned to small-animal practice, spending several years as a general veterinarian. Her experience across species and specialties inspired her to pursue advanced training in veterinary chiropractic and acupuncture, allowing her to address the full spectrum of each patient’s health—from injury recovery to mobility, comfort, and long-term wellness.

Known for her calm demeanor and extensive expertise, Dr. Reynolds is trusted by owners to care for their most valued companions.

Beyond her practice, she also serves as an official veterinarian at FEI Eventing competitions across the country and volunteers with Street Dog Coalition, which provides free veterinary care to pets of people experiencing homelessness.
